MISD Citizens Academy

The first annual MISD Citizens Academy is an exciting program that involves 23 parents and community members who are learning more about their school district. In 6 monthly sessions, participants go behind the scenes to meet staff, learn how the district operates and how it creates a climate of success in both academics and extra-curricular activities.

Topics of interest are Accountability and Curriculum, Athletics, Budget & Bond Planning, District Policies/Procedures, Extra-Curricular & Special Programs, School Governance, School Safety & Security, Technology and more.
